Airlines warn of Saturday flight disruptions at LAX

FLIGHT TRACKER: Is your flight on time?
Most noticeable to LAX passengers, the airport's Terminal 3 remained closed to passengers as of 9 a.m. ET (6 a.m. PT) Saturday morning. LAX says the Terminal 3 parking structure had reopened, but that the terminal would remain closed for as long as needed while for the ongoing FBI investigation into the incident.
Airlines operating out of the terminal were making arrangements for use of other terminals, the airport said Saturday morning. LAX advised passengers schedule to fly through LAX to check with their airlines for exact details.
Virgin America has the biggest presence at LAX's Terminal 3, though other carriers also have flights that depart from the terminal. They include Allegiant, Frontier, JetBlue, Spirit, Virgin America and Virgin Australia.
Virgin America warned LAX passengers to "expect cancellations and delays through the weekend." The carrier also said it would waive cancellation fees through Nov. 15 for LAX passengers ticketed Nov. 1 and Nov 2.
Similarly, JetBlue warned "delays at LAX are very likely today (Nov. 2) due to events there." That airline also said it would waive change fees for affected passengers wishing to rebook, and that it would give LAX fliers the option to instead fly from two other L.A.-area airports: Long Beach and Burbank.
